Our data

What the "Technical specifications" data type includes

  • the type and class of the property (residential or commercial, apartment building or office)
  • the size and area of the site, building, and separate facilities
  • the number and types of premises inside buildings
  • the building materials used
  • amenities (heating system, the type of roof, whether there’s a pool or basement, whether there’s a garage and what type it is, etc.)
  • dates of construction and renovation
  • and more…

Historical data

Donuka collects, stores, and displays not only current but also historical data collected over the past 10 years or more.

As a result, our users are able to track the history of any (even the most insignificant) changes and updates to a property and its technical specifications.

Data sources

Donuka strives to provide credible information obtained from reliable sources. That’s why we only collect and process data from the following sources:

  • city administrations
  • district administrations
  • state administrations
  • federal agencies
  • and others like them…

In all, we collect data on real estate (technical specifications) from over 4,000 different government sources.

Data refresh rate

Databases with lists of real estate properties and their technical specifications are maintained separately by city, county, state, and federal agencies. These add up to thousands of different registries and, respectively, thousands of different data sources, all operating independently of each other.

Each city, county, or state administration decides for itself how often to update and publish information. Some make changes and publish updated data several times a day, some daily, some weekly, and some just once a year.

Within 1-2 days of the publication of data in a city, county, or state administration’s database, Donuka updates the data in its own database, and it then becomes available to our users.

Searching for real estate by technical specifications

Donuka allows you to perform a detailed search for the properties using 20+ technical parameters.

In just a minute, you can sift through 100+ million real estate properties to find only the ones that are right for you.

Here’s an example of a search query using technical specifications:

  • year of construction: 1990-1992
  • wall material: brick
  • fireplace: yes
  • garage: yes
  • living space: >2,000 square feet
  • area of land: >0.25 acres
  • type of property: single-family residential house

In your search results, you will instantly receive a list of properties that match all of the above search parameters. You can also use search options for other types of data to get the most accurate results.

Tracking changes in technical specifications

Donuka allows you to create tasks that track changes in existing properties and alert you to new properties that meet the values you specify.

Here’s an example of tracking changes in the technical specifications of an existing property:

  • change in the living space: yes
  • change in the area of the plot of land: yes
  • change in the size of the building: yes

You’ll receive an instant notification by email and on your dashboard if the area and/or size of the property you’re tracking changes.

Here’s an example of tracking technical specifications for new properties (or existing properties with characteristics that correspond to your specified values):

  • living space: >3,000 square feet
  • length of building: >50 feet

You’ll receive an instant notification by email and on your dashboard if new real estate properties show up in our database that have technical specifications matching your specified values or if the technical specifications of existing properties are going to change to match your specified values (for example, the area of a building will change during reconstruction).
